milk & honey studio is me, andreanna

i always knew i wanted to be an artist. the summer before my senior year of high school i found my medium when
i discovered my dad's nikon fe3. i took to some college photography courses and worked in labs and camera
shops until photography became the air i breathed. i started out as a still photographer on independent films with
aspirations of being a war photojournalist, when much to my parents relief i stumbled upon weddings and portraits.
i love to photograph people, and hold a moment of their story in each image.

time well spent = hanging out with my lovely little family; going to the movies or to watch a band play; watching the clouds roll in on a rainy day; going for a drive to nowhere in particular....

why am I milk & honey studio?

because I'm a sap :)

for our first date, my husband and i went to a record store. i bought one cd that day, milk and honey by john and yoko. when i was deciding on a name, i wanted it to carry personal meaning. that's how milk & honey came to be.

fun fact : i still have the bag and receipt from the record store :)

Eden is a beautiful little girl, and at only 12 days old I swear she was trying to crawl right off the bed! Her little yawns and captivated gaze (especially towards mama ) made me smile and think about holding my own kids when they were newborns. Time really does fly by….

I’ve known this little guys mom since we were running around in L.A. Gear high tops and listening to Milli Vanilli I love that we are all grown up now, each with our own little families. It’s so cliché, but life really does go by in a beautiful flash, and I’m happy to pause...
